These figures are from the Zvezda 8006 Persian Immortals set
The cover art for this Persian Infantry set is beautiful. Figures on the cover
have intricate designs which are a challenge to paint. I offered to paint these figures as on the box for
four pounds ($8) a figure. But the customer wanted a standard paint job and so I substituted the
shown flat colours for the detailed designs of the cover. After thinking it over I decided I wanted to have
this set for myself! I will paint it as per the cover art and mount the set on a wooden presentation base. When
the work is done I will put it up here for comparison. You can decide if it would have been worth the money.
