Old Glory 25mm First Edition Austrians

Posted January 31st, 2010 by neil

I ordered a large number of figures from Old Glory recently. There were twenty three medium sized ($37.55 shipping) flat rate packets containing everything from 10mm ECW, 28mm AWI, and 15mm vehicles from WW2 and Modern. I am going to be busy for a while!

The figures are great. I can’t fault anything. OG sensibly uses a good amount of lead which saves on broken swords and bayonets. Casting is excellent. Back in the day there was some times a problem with old molds. This order and last I bought lots of 1st edition Old Glory figures. They were very well formed.

I ordered some Napoleonic Austrians for a friend who wanted me to paint them. There are a dozen or so guns, three battalions of Grenz, some Jaeger skirmishers, and three units of Austrian Landwehr. I actually order five units of Landwehr as OG have five different types of Landwehr and I wanted to take a look at them. Anything my friend doesn’t want I will take into my own collection. These are pretty nice.

These figures are painted to my regular standard.

Very nice! How many figures per unit? How many bags did you buy to get the right mix?

    Thanks,

    Hi John

Just saw your post. Sorry for the delay, I get too much spam.
The figures come in 30 figure bags with everything you need. One bag = one unit for the Landwehr.

    Cheers

    Neil
