I’ve been living in Chittagong, Bangladesh, for the past five years. There are no local players to help me get a Wargaming fix. I have started a few personal modeling projects to keep my hand in Wargaming. I will detail my projects in this blog.
I was recently in the UK where I collected my very large bag of dice. So I may shoe horn one of the locals into playing with me.

Good to see I’m not alone! I’ve been living in Burkina Faso, Africa, for a year now and at least 2 to 5 years to go. Not much gaming except when I go back to canada on break, two weeks a year.
Great for painting though!

Hi Benoit,
Yes, the isolation is very good for pass times! I am now listinging to an audio book from libre vox (free) which details the experience of a Corporal from “Princess Pats” regiment (Canadian) who escaped from two camps in Germany during WW1. You might find this one interesting. Google should find it for you.
Cheers
Neil

Sounds great! I’ll try to find it. I had brought over some mlitary history books, but they’re long finished… My local (well, in Canada) library had a couple WWI audiobook history recounts by soldiers. Great inspiration to paint historical stuff.
