I’ve just painted some Alban miniatures. These are 28mm Napoleonic voltigeurs. The figures are slim and very detailed. This is what I expected to find in plastics, but with the bonus that you don’t have to put them together. I was so impressed by the figures I decided to post pictures of them.

Very nice work indeed. What games are you using these for? I’ve recently picked up a copy of Songs of Drums and Shakos for some Napoleonic skirmish games and I’m considering getting Sharp Practice.

Hi Tim
These are for Sharpe Practice. They are not actually mine, they are for someone in Singapore. I’m going to pick up some of these figures to use as skirmishers for my ITGM (In The Grand Manner) games. They are the best skirmishing figures I’ve seen.

Hi Chris
These are Alban minis metals. Finer and more detailed than other metals I’ve seen. They are definitely good for a few skirmish screens.

Have you seen the British Line figures that Alban are now producing?

Hi Paul,
Not so far. I generally wait until someone sends me the figures for painting
