Detachable flag poles

Using rare earth magnets to attach flags to wargame figures makes storage and packing easier. It also allows flags to be easily changed.

I’ve been painting some 28mm American Civil War figures. There are around five thousand in total with around 3/4 of the work completed. Here are some pictures of units which are already complete. I’m particularly proud of the Confederates which is to a new standard of painting which I’d only previously used on skirmish figures. [...]

I’ve almost finished painting the TD aircraft which I’ve purchased. These aircraft have all been highlighted. Earlier cammo aircraft which I painted were not highlighted and came out a bit dark.
Right now I have Mig21s, SU7s and some F105 Starfighter’s to paint.

Rare earth magnets are useful in Wargaming for storage of figures. I used rare earth magnets here to attach 1/600th aircraft to flight stands. They are also useful for storing these aircraft.
